Collection: Rachel Espenlaub - Whiteout
“Whiteout” is a collection of paintings centered around the moment when a mindset switches: From acceptance of being lost into the desire to take control. The work explores the transition from being stuck without direction or purpose (depicted by the very low contrast, monochrome color palette) to getting fierce and taking back normalcy (depicted by the aggressive, movement-filled, triangular scenes). The show highlights, and hopes to inspire, rediscovery of inner strength.
